...is my favourite time of year.
just spent a thoroughly enjoyable evening with our writing group - christmas writing and wine and cookies and games of tingo. a group of people who are mostly very different from the type of folk we'd usually meet, in a wide age range, in a wide social range, with whom we spend most monday nights and with whom we've developed our writing skills and explored a whole new side of ourselves.
we just put up our fibre optic xmas tree (thanks to aunt win), drinking warm spiced cider and watching more west wing.
2009, or the last 6 months anyway, has pretty much sucked. bring on 2010 and new beginnings. |
